Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal win Saudi Super Cup on penalties
Al-Hilal beat Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr 5-4 in a penalty shootout on Friday to win the Saudi Super Cup.
The match was played at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh and was watched by a crowd of over 60,000 people.
Al-Hilal took the lead in the first half through a goal from Odion Ighalo, but Al-Nassr equalized in the second half through a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo.
The match went to a penalty shootout, which Al-Hilal won 5-4. Luciano Vietto scored the winning penalty for Al-Hilal.
The win is Al-Hilal's first Saudi Super Cup title since 2021. It is also the club's fourth Super Cup title overall.
