Grand Jury Service: A Vital Role in the Justice System
Over 400 District residents have been called to serve on Superior Court grand juries, an essential component of the criminal justice system. Grand jurors will serve for 25 workdays, and recall days may be scheduled after the initial service period. Effective January 1, 2018, the Court implemented the use of the GJ Grand Jury case type for motions and applications.
